Tow Bar Receiver Hitch Kits

The 2-inch receiver mount fits standard 50mm tow bars and with a 3,500kg rating. This receiver bar or ball mount suits the 50mm x 50mm square steel box section.

50mm Drop (Fabricated Short)

• 160mm – Centre pin to the centre of the tow ball
• 80mm from the back of the assembly to the centre pin.
• 60mm from the centre of the pin to the flange.
• 3.5t Rating
• No tow ball.

• 280mm – Centre pin to the centre of the tow ball
• 80mm from the back of the assembly to the centre pin.
• 170mm from the centre of the pin to the flange.
• 3.5t Rating
• No tow ball.

Question: Is your 50mm tow hitch rattling?

Answer: The solution is a high-tensile pin. 

Ensure your tow bar rating is within your trailer weight before purchasing tow bar receivers.

The rating of a solid 50mm towbar ball mount is Class IV or 4t depending on the grade of your tow bar. If your tow rating is 3.5t, then the rating of your tow bar receiver is 3.5t.

50mm hitch receiver bar under 3.5t used in conjunction with the vehicle standard certification and the tow bar rating, whichever is lower.

Towbars undergo static load testing upon installation.

Your tow bar installer will use the Australian Standards when he is certifying your tow bar.

Warning: Inspect hitch pins and hitch pin clips at least yearly for wear and tear. Clips may become loose and require replacement. It is possible clips can fall out due to repetitive removal and re-insertion. Therefore, they must be examined for tightness regularly.

Suitable for towing boat trailers, horse floats, caravans, and trailers. Not suited to heavy-duty weight distribution hitches.
