1-inch Machined Axle Washer

A 1-inch machined axle washer is a thrust washer designed by Active Fabrications to fit Al-ko and Couplemate 10-inch parallel drums onto their axles.

If your drum is not tightening on your axle and the nut is at full turn then a thrust washer provides extra clearance to tighten the axle nut correctly.

For example, an Al-ko drum will not fit correctly on an AF-turned axle unless you are using a thrust washer.

The bearings cannot be pre-loaded or adjusted without this washer.

Have you tightened the axle as far as you can and the hub is still not tight?
