60mm x 685mm Shackle Spring – Al-ko

Al-ko 685mm Offset 60mm wide Replacement Caravan Spring.

Al-ko 685mm Offset Spring caravan springs are fitted to the chassis rail of caravans with a G&S Chassis. Shackle Springs 685mm on manufacturers' tandem setups.

Melbourne Trailers supplied a G&S Chassis caravan suspension system. However, it has been discontinued by Alko and replaced with the 57606X series springs.

This particular spring is shorter than standard tandem springs and is no longer a standard spring to obtain.

Note: Complete single axle spring kits are now available with heavy-duty 10mm hangers.

685mm x 60mm x 6.5mm offset springs are available in the following capacity

• 6 Leaf - 990 kg per spring

We suggest putting your caravan over a weighbridge to get your exact loading before any upgrade.

Furthermore, in most cases, resolved spring problems begin with a weighbridge certificate and a set of tow ball scales.

Spring upgrades are standard on tandem setups. Suspension upgrades re-invigorate the caravan's towing capacity to OEM standard in many cases.
