Here's a sample of questions we get asked from time to time:-
Question: What time does my postman come?
Comment. Your goods were sent Express Post Yesterday. You should receive them today. (God, forgive me for the comments I uttered when I hung up the phone)
Question: Can I pay on pickup?
Answer: No, all orders need to be prepaid. We will either dispatch them via our courier or you can pick them up.
Question: Can I come, browse and buy some parts?
Answer: No, we do not have enough staff to satisfy retail enquiry. Retails orders are picked and packed. Most of our packing is for our wholesale and manufacturers bulk orders.
Question: I purchased some off-road shockies from another supplier, what angle should I install them on my camper?
Answer: We do not know the brand or specifications of those shockies, better ask your supplier the same question.
Question: Do you have a wiring diagram for a Voyager Car controller I just purchased.
Answer: We do not recommend DIY for any electric car controller. Car Controllers come with instructions and a video display. On most occasions second hand car controllers tend to be faulty and DO NOT COME WITH INSTRUCTIONS.
Question: I purchased a trailer parts at a great price but cannot get information on how to install it.
Answer: If you have purchased an item from a supplier who will NOT give you further information on that product then it is obvious they do not provide customer service on products they sell. Cut price products often do not have a few cents extra inbuilt to be able to offer customer service. There are disposable products in the market masquerading as genuine high quality articles are reasonable prices. Ask questions before you buy, if they cannot answer then buy from someone WHO CAN ANSWER your questions. If you have purchased something from Couplemate Trailer Parts we are only too happy to help you with any questions.
Question: The Wheel track on my 4WD is 1650mm. Can you supply me a complete braked axles so my trailer will follow directly in my wheel tracks.
Answer: Yes and no. Yes, we can provide any brakes axle setup for any type of country up to 4.5 tonne. NO we cannot provide brakes axles based on wheel tracks. We need tip tip measurements or face to face measurements. Your dealers will be able to produce these or the person you have purchase the wheel from will be able to provide us with the wheels Off-Set. Wheels can have up to three different wheel offsets so we like to get it right otherwise if you guess then Murphy's Law says it will be 4" too long. We make hundreds of braked axle setups, 99% of them correct.
