Examples of mistakes when ordering springs are
  • Wrong length
  • Centre bolt in wrong place
  • Wrong thickness

Be sure to measure your spring correctly before ordering.

You need to measure

  • Width
  • Length
  • Spring thickness
  • Number of leaf per spring.

Manufacturers do not necessarily put the same springs on all trailers so brand names do not work when asking for springs.

Here's a few tips

  • Single Shackle spring hangers should be 25mm longer than the eye to eye spring measurement. If not then you have problems.
  • If shackle plates are rolling over then spring hangers are welded incorrectly.

If hangers are in the correct location for both slipped and shackle spring, your trailer springs will function perfectly.
