Trailer, Caravan or Camper Shock absorber kits not only make the ride softer on the equipment in your trailer, they cause less wear and tear on your springs, bearings, bolts and virtually save wear and tear on all your trailer components.

How do they do this?

Corrigated roads, pot holes and even road edges cause shocks to occur in your trailer frame. This energy has to be displaced somewhere.

The energy travels around and is absorbed by weak points in your trailer. Example, an undersized axle will vibrate under load. The vibrations are transmitted to the springs, bearings and other running gear. Spring failure is common where undersized axles are found.

So how do you stop the effects of rough roads?

Install a set of shock absorbers to damp absorb the loose energy so it has very little impact on your trailer suspension and less impact on your bearings and running gear.

Really inexpensive remedy to lengthen those maintanence bills.

Couplemate shock absorbers are built tough to withstand the toughest of conditions.

We cyclic test every batch of trailer shock absorbers to destruction to maintain the best quality for your equipment.

Shock Absorbers dampen energy from rough roads. This energy causes slight damage on every bump and over time this damage becomes apparent.

Worn parts, parts rubbing together, loose nuts, worn utensils, etc are all signs of a trailer without a shock absorber.

Why are shock absorbers important for your trailer?

Your remember Henry Ford? Ah yes, I thought that name would ring a bell.

Ole Henry never put shock absorbers on his cars until he got sick of the rough ride. He also needed to sell more cars.

Funny thing happened when Henry put shock absorbers on all his cars, he sold and sold and sold more cars. Yes, the Governator may have worked for Henry Ford in a past life.

Henry sold so many cars that all the world car manufacturers now put shock absorbers on their cars.

We reckon your trailer needs them too.
