Solid trailer axles are required in most states of Australia. Stud axles welded into Box section is not recommended unless you are using independent rubber suspension.

If you want Tip to Tip measurement but that is too hard, add 110mm to your face to face measurement.

(39mm AUSTRALIAN STEEL) Axles - Full Solid 39mm ROUND SOLID AXLE - 750KG
750KG - 39mm Round Axle. Suits small box trailers.

Suit LM bearings.

Common problem: Too much weight will bend this axle causing excess axle flex. Springs to fatigue - fail prematurely under incorrect loading.

Quite a common problem with 39mm Round Solid Axles and Hollow Axles. If your axle is 39mm Round and bending, buy a 45mm round axle and update to 1.5t. It really is not very expensive.

(40mm AUSTRALIAN STEEL) Axles - Full Solid 40mm SQUARE SOLID AXLE - 1000KG
1000KG - 40mm Round Axle. Suits box and some tandem trailers.

Suit LM bearings.

2000KG - 50mm Round Axle. Suits big box trailers for towing bob cats..

Suit 2 tonne bearings, parallel or SL bearings.

OK, if you are overweight on these girls then you are likely to be breaking a lot of bearings and even 2 tonne hubs.

Best call me and try top quality bearings and top quality drums, hubs or discs. Next best thing you can if that 50mm Round is still bending is to throw it away and get a 3 tonne axle setup.
