Hydraulic Brakes are a must for
boat trailers. Expensive? Yes!
Electric
brakes have been used by some folks. They have installed
a flushing system and drill the back of the electric backing plates
to install snap on the connectors.
Once the connectors are installed, hoses are connected
and teed to other backing plates. The connection point can be located at the
back of your trailer. When you flush your motor, the fresh water hose is
connected to your electric break flusing point.
Legal yes. Not recommended by manufacturers but it
works.
