Trailer
braking systems for caravans and campers fall into
two main categories:-
(a) Electrically Controlled.
(b) Disc brakes operated by a mechanical
override.
Generally, electrically controlled trailer brakes will give
the driver much more trailer brake control but if you are planning on spending
time on those lovely sandy beaches then then electric brakes will require more
maintenance.
