Clamp on jockey wheels are common on a lot of trailers, especially older trailers. Simple, cheap and serve their purpose. All jockey wheels have different loadings and designs for a variety of purposes.

If you are looking to upgrade to a larger jockey wheel first check the distance under your chassis rail to the ground. A 10" jockey wheel may not suit if you do not have sufficient clearance under your chassis rail.

TIP: Wind your jockey wheel down when moving your caravan. Movement in the highest position puts a lot of strain on the pivot point of your swing up mechanism.
