The Durahub Bearing Buddy has a patented 'window' on the outside so you can ACTUALLY SEE the grease condition inside your wheel hub.
If water or containments have entered the bearing cavity, the bearing needs to be removed and re-packed.
When a hot wheel hub enters water, a vacuum is created when the grease contacts. The Durahub Bearing Buddy has a rubber insert that contacts into the hub relieving pressure to help prevent water ingress.
The Durahub has no grease nipples because the hub needs to be re-packed to remove water and contaminates.
Each unit is pre-tested under water.
Note: When filled with Oil, customers report the Durahub runs cooler than grease filled hubs.
