OK, you are into serious
suspension now. ALKO Outback springs are recognised as the leaders for serious
offroad travellers. Use Japanese bearings in your hubs and if you are going
electric braked setup with a new axle look at parallel drums for that extra
support you need to cater for the rough stuff.

Define rough stuff? Pilbra region or Cape York
region. Outback springs and parallel hub setups on a 45mm Square axle will
loadup at around 1.5 tonne.
Off Road Spring are supplied with heavy duty hangers
and shackle bolts. If you are retrofitting these new assemblies then you will
need to grind off your old hangers and weld these hangers to your chassis frame.
Off Road hangers are heavy duty. Standard hangers should not be used in
conjunction with Outback springs.
