
LM Holden Bearings Inner - 31.75mm, Outer - 19.05mm (Usually 39mm Round and 40mm Square)
SL Ford Bearings Inner - 35.00, Outer - 22.00mm (Usually 45mm - 50mm Round and 45mm - 50mm Square) Di sc hubs or rotors are available in untreated plain finish (“as cast”). Some disc hubs are also available in hot dip galvanised finish. With the hot dip galvanised finish, wheel bearings and zinc plated wheel studs are fitted and all appropriate surfaces are hot dip galvanised. On AL-KO disc hubs/rotors the friction surfaces are machined after the galvanising process to provide superior brake performance. Galvanise surface treatment left on the friction surface would dramatically reduce brake performance.
Where the type of disc is referred to as “disc hub”, this is a one piece hub and disc combination and it is usually fitted with LM or slimline bearing types.
Note: the braking capacity should be matched to the planned maximum trailer mass.
