OK, so what is the difference between parallel and slimline bearings?
Slimline Bearings are usually called FORD bearings. These bearings suit Slimline profile axles and can be loaded up to 1450kg.
Parallel Bearings are quite unique and able to carry 1600kg over rough terrain. Quite a durable bearing, certainly built for tough country.
In my opinion, the difference between parallel and slimline bearings is line chalk and cheese. A huge difference in performance although only a slight weight gain.
