Caravanners and campers are painfully aware of the problems associated with electric brakes when travelling over corrugated roads and rough terrain. Whilst standard electric brakes are well suited for sealed, flat roads, they wear quickly when heading off the beaten track.

To counter this, AL-KO has developed its very own Off-Road Electric Brake, which is specifically designed for Australian off road conditions. The design incorporates a high tech plastic core in the magnet that reduces vibration and wear as well as withstanding the high temperatures present in heavy brake applications.

The AL-KO Off-Road Electric Brake has been extensively tested in typically harsh Australian conditions and has proven that it is durable, reliable and will not let you down even in the toughest terrain. This ensures that costly and inconvenient breakdowns off the beaten track are minimized.

Installation:

Spring is included with the Offroad Magnet.

No clip is required.

Install spring on magnet arm first then install magnet with rubber band attached to keep magnet attached to the magnet arm.

The rubber band will disinergrate with first braking motion and is used only to keep the magnet in place when installing the 10 inch drum.
