The AL-KO tandem Rocker Roller axle system is a load sharing suspension
system designed to ensure a smooth transfer of weight from front to rear axle
and thus reduce any shock load or vibration on your trailer or caravan. This
unique system greatly reduces axle steer and improves stability over rough
terrain. Driver fatigue is minimised due to smoother handling and safer towing
and less wearing parts ensures lower maintenance costs, over a longer period of
time. The AL-KO Rocker Roller is available for 14-inch, 15-inch and 16-inch
wheel spacings and suits a Gross Trailer Mass (GTM) of 1900 kg to 4000 kg.
Technical and fitting considerations

The correct dimensional set-up
is important to ensure all the spring hangers are aligned with each other.
This prevents excessive strain on shackle pins.

Make sure all fittings are
tightened securely with nyloc nuts.

Appropriate shackle pins that
are greaseable should be
greased.

The pin through the roller should
be greased on assembly.

The roller and loop eye should only
be lightly greased.
